Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products mill in Pennington, Alabama is seeking a Materials Allocator to ensure smooth raw material flow through the EWM system and support safe, reliable production.

You will work with service groups and operations teams, coaching hourly staff and driving continuous improvement using EWM and ICPAQ processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or related environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

• Partner with internal and external customers, service groups, and operations teams to support objectives and customer satisfaction.
• Investigate material flow and system issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Anticipate and address potential service disruptions to maintain safe and reliable operations.
• Utilize EWM, ICPAQ, Quality, and related systems to support inventory accuracy and operational performance.
• Serve as the on-shift subject matter expert by coaching team members on EWM and ICPAQ processes.
• Influence, coach, and support hourly personnel to achieve operational goals and foster continuous improvement.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring materials move efficiently through the manufacturing process, enabling safe, reliable production and exceptional customer service. You will manage raw material workflows within the Warehouse Management System (EWM), collaborate with multiple service groups, and serve as a key problem-solver for material flow and system challenges. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, military operations, or a related environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience leading or coordinating teams within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in material handling, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
• Experience utilizing SAP/EWM, ICPAQ, SharePoint, and/or Kronos.
