Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp is seeking a warehouse MTO associate responsible for receiving, storing, inspecting, and preparing materials used in production. You will rotate stock to ensure FIFO, lift up to 50 pounds, move boxes for the next day’s run, and meticulously record lots and quantities on official sheets.

You will also load ice cream reefers for pre-pack and cup lines, document usage by lot, and hand in reports to supervisors. Overtime may be required as production needs dictate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years warehouse/forklift experience preferred.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be on your feet all day.
• Must be organized and able to complete daily paperwork.
• Must be able to take written and verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Rotate stock to achieve FIFO usage.

• Submit all documentation to Supervisor/Manager for verification.
• Support production to ensure continuous flow; assist as needed.
• Maintain warehouse and freezer cleanliness per daily chore list.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Position Summary

MTO is a warehouse position dealing with the receiving, storage, inspection, and preparation of all materials used in production.

Essential Functions

• Rotate the stock of those materials, so to accomplish the First In-First Out (FIFO) use of those products.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Prepare all boxes and cookies for the following day’s production by transferring from the wooden pallets to blue pallets.
• The MTO sorts all product inclusions, groups them by lot number, and records amount and lot numbers on the Inclusion Loader Sheet prior to use in production and supplies the production process throughout each production run.
• Loads reefers with ice cream for the pre-pack and cup lines and records the amount of ice cream used in production, by lot number and amount on the Reefer Loading Sheet.
• Turns in all documentation to Supervisor and Manager for verification.
• Perform any/all duties required/requested by management, to assist the continuous flow of the production process.
• Perform daily chore list provided by the Supervisor, to maintain cleanliness of warehouse and freezer.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs and is expected when requested.
