Westlake Royal Building Products is seeking a Day Shift Material Technician to support production operations on a rotating 36-48 hour week. The role involves assisting machine operators, handling materials, and performing basic quality checks while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

• Operates and maintains cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Handles loading, shipping, and material distribution for production orders.
• Reads spreadsheets for material requirements at changeovers.
• Performs basic maintenance on equipment used.

DaVinci Roofscapes has an opening for A Day Shift Material Technician.

The schedule for this position is A Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM (36-48 hours per week rotating schedule).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Trains and relieves machine operators as needed
• Fills in for the Lead during their absence, including performing color changes, quality checks, and become familiar with mold changeovers
• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators
• Dumps by hand materials such as colors or plastic, into machine hoppers or move product by hand onto scrap pallets
• Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products
• Reads spread sheets to determine specific material requirements at changeovers
• Performs necessary maintenance and repair on some equipment used
• Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment
• Prepares and maintains records of product movement
• Pulls raw materials and finish product from various locations for manufacturing orders
