Job summary

HellermannTyton Corporation is seeking a Material System Technician to manage raw material handling for injection molded products. You will mix, grind, and move materials, identify scrap, and maintain the material system with program setup and minor maintenance.

This role supports Quality and EHS documentation and company policies. Key duties include setting up materials per production schedule, operating material handling equipment, completing Material Log sheets, and performing routine

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of manufacturing/material handling experience preferred (injection molding).
• Ability to read, write and follow written instructions in English.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 75 lbs.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Able to stand for 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedule and set up materials per schedule.
• Read, follow, and verify work orders for specification compliance.
• Complete electronic Material Log sheets each shift.
• Change materials as required and label correctly.
• Program, set up, and operate material handling system components.
• Troubleshoot common material and system issues.
• Perform daily moisture checks and document results.
• Maintain material blenders, hoppers, dryers, and grinders.
• Record material transactions in ERP (PeopleSoft).
• Inspect produced parts visually for quality defects.
• Support Quality/Environmental system documentation.
