Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a dedicated Sorter to hand sort pallets and materials in our distribution facility. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and keeping active throughout shifts in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers hourly pay and a standard Monday–Friday shift, with overtime as needed. You will work at 2507 Georgia 140, White, GA 30184, contributing to efficient pallet management and seamless operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the facility.
• Check loads to make sure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate directly with plant management regularly.

As a Sorter, you’ll get to hand sort pallets and other materials within a distribution facility and ensure high levels of safety and cleanliness. This is the perfect role for someone looking to maintain high levels of activity and it is vital to the success of our plant’s production!

Hourly Pay:

$18.00/hr

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm

What You'll Do

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the facility
• Check loads to make sure they are secure

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
