Cleveland-Cliffs in Rockport, IN offers a Material Science/Metallurgical Engineer Intern/co-op with opportunities to work alongside engineering and operations leaders on meaningful, real-world projects. As a Material Science/Metallurgical Engineer Intern at Cleveland-Cliffs, projects in which an intern will participate will vary, depending on education level and plant, but will model the duties below to the extent possible.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Daily review of production process data
• Analyze disposition of non-conforming product

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program in the field of Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or other related technical degree
• Completion of at least sophomore year of study by the summer of 2027
