Job summary

Jabil in Florence, KY is seeking a Material Planner to ensure materials flow efficiently through the supply chain, supporting production schedules and customer requirements.

The role requires at least 1 year in materials planning or related fields, SAP experience preferred, and strong analytical, organizational, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 1+ year of Materials Planning, Supply Chain, Scheduling, or related experience required or equivalent.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-volume production preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute material plans to support production schedules and customer demand.
• Monitor inventory levels, adjust planning strategies, and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Implement and maintain strong inventory management and control systems.
• Coordinate materials control activities and ensure accuracy/compliance with procedures.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics and other teams to ensure smooth material movement.

Jabil is seeking a few Material Planners to work at some of our sites.Shifts Needed:Shift 401 – Sun-Tue/Wed (every other Wednesday) 6am-6pmShift 402 - Sun-Tue/Wed (every other Wednesday) 6pm-6am (shift differential offered)Shift 403 – Wed/Thu-Saturday (every other Wednesday) – 6am-6pmShift 404 – Wed/Thu-Saturday (every other Wednesday) 6pm-6am (shift differential offered)This position is not eligible for immigration and/or visa sponsorship. Applicants requiring sponsorship will not be considered.How will you make an impact?As a Material Planner with Jabil, you will ensure that materials flow efficiently and accurately through the supply chain to support production schedules and customer requirements.
