Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a procurement/materials planning professional in Sunnyvale, CA to validate material requirements and prepare procurement documentation aligned with production schedules. You will manage inbound material, vendor communications, and inventory targets while ensuring proper disposition of obsolete materials.

Responsibilities include processing purchase orders and revisions, coordinating returns, and authorizing temporary fabrication or rework when necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience with acquisition requests and vendor communications.
• Familiarity with LM procurement processes and documentation.
• Ability to review invoices and approvals.
• Experience coordinating company property and assets.
• Active Top Secret or higher clearance is required or desired.

Responsibilities

• Validate material requirements against documents and schedules.
• Prepare material acquisition documents and purchase orders; manage revisions.
• Schedule inbound material per production plans and inventory targets.
• Authorize temporary fabrication or rework of purchased parts when needed.
• Release materials and allocate to contracts and work orders; track shortages.
