Base pay range

$55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

An international industrial manufacturer in the Novi, MI area is seeking a Material Planner/Customer Service Specialist responsible for managing customer orders and materials planning.

Responsibilities Include:

Act as primary contact for customers placing or inquiring about the status of purchase orders
Confirm contents of purchase orders with customer for accuracy
Support Sales team in forecasting and assist in annual planning process
Coordinate onboarding of new customers
Help oversee inventory control to maintain proper product levels
Communicate with manufacturing plants for future demands and lead time for production capacity
Act as primary contact with third-party logistics providers

Requirements:

Prefer at least a 2-year Associate’s degree
2 years of related experience in manufacturing and distribution customer service role
Experience with inventory control, materials planning and purchase orders
Strong communication and presentation skills
Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment
