Job summary

Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, is seeking a Material Planner to prepare material lists based on engineering blueprints and to verify parts codes and quantities for production. You will analyze blueprints, determine total material needs, and route documentation to the purchasing team to initiate orders.

Working for this major shipbuilding division, you will support production facilities with accurate material planning and compliance, in a full-time, on-site role at Goose Creek, SC.

Qualifications

• Must have High School/GED and 2 years of additional education and/or experience.
