Baker Hughes in Tomball, TX is seeking a Materials Planner to coordinate material planning, scheduling, and inventory management across global operations. You will translate demand forecasts and sales orders into physical orders, partnering with Sales, Operations, and Engineering to ensure timely delivery while minimizing costs.
You will use SAP and MRP to manage stock levels, monitor aging inventory, and support continuous improvement initiatives to maximize value for the business and customers.
Do you have experience in material planning, inventory management, and demand forecasting within a fast-paced supply chain environment? Have you successfully collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability while optimizing inventory levels and operational efficiency?
As a Material Planner within Pressure Pumping HQ Integrated Supply Chian team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. Work with the sales and commercial team, HQ & region personnel, AMO, and supply chain to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) across global operations into physical orders and ensure they are delivered to meet customer requirements.
You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Application Engineering, Service Delivery, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless material flow and effective demand fulfillment. By leveraging data-driven insights and proactive planning, you will support inventory optimization initiatives, improve asset utilization, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that maximize value for the business and our customers.
