Silgan Containers is seeking a Material Mover for 2nd shift at our Flora, Illinois facility. This on-site role supports loading/unloading, material scanning, raw material blending, and warehouse upkeep to ensure efficient production flows.

The position requires following standard procedures, safety rules, and accurate record-keeping to maintain production timelines and quality for customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products in an organized, timely manner to satisfy customer needs.
• Scan finished goods and WIP moved through the warehouse and production floor.
• Blend raw materials for production as required and scan all associated raw materials.
• Maintain proper cords of transfer.
• Keep the warehouse clean and safe, providing a quality work environment.
• Check and receive incoming items while maintaining records.
• Follow all work instructions, procedures, and safety precautions relevant to the job.
