As a Material Movement Coordinator, supporting our Custom Pak production team, you will be trusted to safely perform material movements in the most accurate and efficient way to provide materials to the production room at Houston, Texas US.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Able to assign and direct associates in all areas of warehouse operations.
Able to initiate cycle counts and complete investigations.
Able to lock materials and locations as needed.
Training/Knowledge of Alcon Warehouse Quality and Safety Standards.
Able to obtain and maintain Order Picker, Reach Truck and Swing Reach Truck Certifications (Training Provided).
Maintain warehouse cleanliness through 6S practice and identify opportunities for improvement (Kaizen).
Able to investigate, identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in SAP system.
Working knowledge of SAP T-Codes and their results.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
High School Diploma or equivalent
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
Work hours: 1st Shift: Tuesday - Friday from 6:00am - 4:30pm
