The Greenbrier Companies is seeking a Material Manager in Iowa to procure and control inventory, ensuring proper storage/handling procedures and minimizing variances. This role collaborates with Production, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, and external vendors to maintain efficient material flow and cost control.
The position requires experience in railcar repair/parts, familiarity with inventory systems, and strong organizational skills.

The Material Manager procures and controls inventory levels and costs, ensures proper procedures for material storage/handling, and that inventory controls are performed to minimize inventory variances. This position will work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, and external vendors. The Material Manager ensures minimum production constraints related to insufficient supply of material while driving efficient inventory turnover and minimizing holding costs.
