Job summary

PPG Quality is seeking dependable, motivated Material & Machine Associates to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for safely moving materials, supporting machine operations, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the facility.
• Support machine operation and production activities.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and operating procedures.
• Prepare production paperwork accurately and completely.
• Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customer representatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
