Job summary

Abbott in Saint Paul, MN, is seeking a Material & Inventory Specialist I to maintain accurate inventory and ensure timely availability to required areas. The role is based at the St Paul Tech Center within Electrophysiology (EP) and involves material movements, ERP work orders, cycle counting, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. OT may be required to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Material Movements both physically and systematically.
• Generate Work Orders from an ERP system.
• Perform Work Order Receipts in ERP system.
• Perform cycle counting as required.
• Maintain a neat and safe work environment.
• Assist in the coordination and flow of product through manufacturing and assembly when needed.
• Work in a cross functional team environment.
• Some areas will require the handling of chemicals with proper training provided.

The Opportunity

This position works out of our St Paul Tech Center location in the Electrophysiology (EP) business.

Main Purpose of Role

The Material & Inventory Specialist I is responsible for ensuring all inventory is maintained accurately and provided to required areas in a timely manner.

What You'll Work On

The base pay for this position is $17.85 - $35.75 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
