Job summary

The role requires 3-5 years in materials management/inventory, an Associate’s degree in Material Sciences, and the ability to handle shipping regulations and certificates as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Material Sciences required.
• 3-5 years materials management/inventory experience required.
• Willingness to learn and apply policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material from receiving/warehouse to production.
• Develops raw material requirements and coordinates material movement with purchasing, warehouse and production.
• Utilizes Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• Negotiates lead times with suppliers and manages schedules for timely delivery.
• May interpret laws and regulations regarding shipping and prepares export/import certificates and licenses.
