We are immediately hiring for a Materials Inventory Clerk to join our Bedford, IN team.

• 48k - 50k (DOE) yearly salary + benefits and PTO
• Location: Bedford, IN
• Inventory tracking and general MS office experience is a plus
• 10pm - 6am Sunday - Friday (some Saturdays depending on customer needs)

Summary

The Material Inventory Clerk is an entry-level inventory management role. Looking for a candidate with strong critical thinking skills and who works well with other people. No prior experience is required; all necessary training is provided. This is a growth position that could lead to many other opportunities at Ryder.

Essential Functions

• Manage part deliveries, including scheduling deliveries, adjusting deliveries, and canceling deliveries
• Monitor inventory levels to make sure they are sufficient
• React to critical inventory shortages with recovery transportation plan
• Input data into a computer system
• Read Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and use logistics management software
• Communicate via phone, email, and handheld radio transceiver with suppliers, GM personnel, and other Ryder team members

Qualifications

Compensation Information :
