The Material Handling Team Lead reports to the Material Control Manager and supports the Site Leadership Team with the day-to-day operation of the day-to-day materials movement, supporting both warehouse activities and production line activities. They are responsible for a group of Material Handling associates and ensure efficient warehouse and line preparation operations to achieve business targets. They provide directions to the team such as coordinating workloads, providing support to ensure deliverables, and monitoring employee, technical, and logistics issues. In addition, they ensure operation targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met to meet the requirements of the customer. They work to develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards while fostering a culture of working safely.
High School diploma with at least two (2) years’ experience working in a warehouse environment and an additional two (2) years in a leadership capacity or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
