Phoenix Metals is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support metals processing and distribution in our Katy, TX facility. You'll move material, pick orders, and keep inventory organized using forklifts, side loaders, and cranes.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse. You will stand, walk, and lift up to heavy loads daily, requiring good manual dexterity and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to meet MVR criteria as defined by regulations/policy.
• Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
• Must obtain certification to operate required equipment.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment and fill customer orders.
• Unload incoming material and load trucks; maintain warehouse upkeep.
• Receive and place items into stock locations; pull and assemble orders.
• Tag material and complete required documentation.
• Move materials using forklift, side loader, or crane.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Sort and store materials by size, type or product code; perform spot checks.
• Report irregularities to supervisor; restock as needed.
