Job summary

Stainless Motors Inc in Rio Rancho, NM seeks a Material Handling Associate to support production by moving materials, assembling customer orders, and maintaining accurate stock records. You will operate a forklift, sort items, and prepare shipments in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include receiving, labeling, and recording materials, as well as keeping the warehouse organized and safe.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated forklift and reach truck operation with ability to certify.
• Knowledge of order picking and receiving products.
• Understanding of how to piece orders together and outbound loading/unloading.
• Experience with racking, bulk storage, and cycle counting.
• General warehouse safety practices.
• Ability to use common hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Convey materials from receiving/production to storage or designated areas.
• Sort and place items on racks or shelves by size, type, product number.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and tools.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare pallets for packing or shipping.
• Mark materials with identifying information and open containers as needed.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed and operate forklift for transport.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and push up to 25 lbs.
