Job summary

A-Gas in the Americas is hiring for a Material Handling Operator at our North Ft. Worth warehouse in Rhome, TX. We offer 1st and 2nd shift openings, with starting pay at $20 per hour, based on skills and role.

You will check-in and inspect compressed gas cylinders, maintain records, and operate refurbishing, painting, decanting, and filling processes. Forklift or pallet jack operation is required, with a 40-hour week and overtime possible.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Available for 40 hours per week with overtime.
• Able to lift and move at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Shift starts at 5 AM; 1st and 2nd shifts.
• Experience with compressed gas cylinders is a plus.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and inspect compressed gas cylinders
• Maintain cylinder records and data entry into tracking system
• Safely operate refurbishing, painting, decanting, or refilling cylinders
• Ability to drive and operate a forklift, or pallet jack
• Maintain a safe work environment for all employees
• Other duties as assigned
