Job summary

Worthington Steel is hiring a Material Handler in Bowling Green, KY. Earn $18.00/hour with a $1.00/hour second shift differential for the 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM shift, plus paid training and Day 1 benefits.

The role includes quarterly profit sharing and opportunities to learn forklifts, overhead cranes, and production equipment. You will help keep our Bowling Green operation running safely and efficiently by moving steel, supplying lines, loading and unloading orders, and staging materials.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, logistics, or material handling experience is helpful, but don’t count yourself out if you haven’t done this exact job before.
• Preferred skills include forklift or overhead crane experience, mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, basic math, and the ability to read a tape measure and production orders.

• Supply production lines and move finished products
• Load, unload, packaging, and preparing customer orders
• Staging and tracking materials
