Job summary

Fiber Glass Systems, a business under NOV, is hiring an entry-level technician in Andrews, TX for DAY SHIFT, 7:00am - 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday. This position focuses on the safe and quality movement of our tanks and wastewater products before and during shipment.

Responsibilities include operating a light-duty forklift, assisting with hydro testing, keeping the yard clean, and following all safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
• Three years of verifiable work history preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime & shift work as required.
• Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required.
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift Certification a Plus but not required.
• Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
• Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.

• Rigger - Using hand signals to guid the crane and or forklift operators.
• Ensure loads are correctly tied down to prevent damage and ensure safe load transporation.
• Assist with Hydro Testing Completed tanks.
• Cleaning and Grounds maintenace in yard area.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
• Utilize safe work habits.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

These DAY SHIFT positions are routinely scheduled Monday through Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm.
