Job summary

Radix Wire & Cable, LLC in Glenwillow, OH is hiring a Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. You will receive, store, and distribute materials, operate material handling equipment, and ensure accurate inventory using a warehouse management system.

Two shifts are available: first shift 6:00 AM–2:00 PM and second shift 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Hourly wages start at $21.00 and increase with seniority and shift differential, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with WMS and barcode scanning.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklift or tow-motor to move materials.
• Unload trailers / trucks and enter purchase order receipts, generate material labels.
• Pick up trash hoppers and corrugate hoppers from the production floor.
• Utilize warehouse management systems and barcode scanning to track inventory in real time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following safety guidelines.

• First (1) Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Second (2) Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00PM - 10:00PM
• This position is located in Glenwillow, Ohio
• Hourly Rates starting at $21.00 and up. Increase after 90 days plus Shift Differential Pay
• Multiple Openings
• May have to train on first shift, which is Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 2:00PM

The Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within the warehouse and production environments. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products accurately and in a timely manner to support operational needs. The Material Handler will operate various material handling equipment to move goods safely and efficiently, maintaining organization and inventory accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent years of experience
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in future
• Proven experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems and barcode scanning.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and documentation.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and support.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
