Job description

We are seeking an experienced warehouse worker/material handler in our San Jose, CA warehouse.

We are looking for a motivated, organized individual seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Processing incoming freight in a timely manner and loading and unloading vehicles.
2. Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves.
3. Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
4. Completing all paperwork pertaining to inventory: shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, packing lists, open orders, order check-off, invoices, and shipping labels.
5. Ensuring complete accuracy of inventory at all times.
6. Labeling all orders and back stock clearly.
7. Participation in the cycle counting program.
8. Proper use of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, to move inventory.
9. Recording amounts of product received and distributed.
10. Cleaning the warehouse.
11. Shipping/delivering the orders.
12. Performing other duties as required.
13. Communicating in a professional manner with team members and customers.
14. Making the sample boards.

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. 3+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
2. Computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, WCS, and ERP programs) preferred.
3. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, averaging, percentages).
4. Ability to effectively plan, communicate the plan, and hold self and team members accountable to the plan.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills.
