Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Material Handler in Frankfort, Indiana.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $19.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $0.75 per hour when working B Shift
• Schedule: B Shift Monday - Tuesday 5:30 pm - 4:00 am & Friday - Saturday 5:30 am - 4:00 pm

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a diverse environment and create professional relationships at all levels
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Punctual with good attendance
• Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision
• High level of initiative and accuracy, even under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work safely and follow health and safety methods
• Flexible schedule for various shifts
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Ensure accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Manage related paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
