Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment in Monroe, WI is seeking a Material Handler to support manufacturing and shipping operations. You will open containers, verify counts and move materials using pallets and lifts.

The role requires basic math, attention to inventory locations, and the ability to learn manufacturing software. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
• Basic math skills required for counts and materials.
• Ability to reason and solve problems related to the position.
• Ability to learn and navigate manufacturing software.
• Must discern number formats accurately.
• Must describe inventory locations in detail.

Responsibilities

• Open containers to verify count and specifications.
• Load and unload materials on or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves.
• Secure lifting attachments to materials and move loads to destination.
• Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark information on cases, bales or other containers.
• Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together.
• Shovel loose materials into machine hoppers or vehicles and containers.
• Operate industrial truck and electric hoists.
