Job summary

PlayCore Holdings, Inc. in Carrollton, GA, is seeking a dependable forklift operator to transport goods within the plant and loading areas. You will follow safety procedures and work with team members to move materials efficiently.

This role requires attention to detail, adherence to PPE rules, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Prior warehouse experience and SRP forklift training are valued.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently to and from storage areas, workstations, and other assigned areas.
• Load, transport, unload, and stack goods and materials in accordance with policies and safety procedures; maintains awareness of possible hazards at all times.
• Shrink wrap goods or otherwise secure them and prepare them for transport.
• Inspect and maintain forklift and other material handling equipment. Notifies management when repairs are required.
• Comply with all safety regulations and company guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Lead or Manager.

• Shrink wraps goods or otherwise secures them and prepares them for transport.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• This position is based in a plant environment where proper PPE will be required while performing tasks and duties. The position requires walking and standing for prolonged periods. As part of the regular duties of the job, this position requires the use of hands and fingers to handle, feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. This position regularly lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds to shoulder height and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
