Qualifications

• Read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain neat and accurate records.
• Safely operate an industrial forklift.
• Physically lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Demonstrated reliability and good attendance.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in steel manufacturing or material handling is preferred.
• Experience packaging steel wire or rod coils is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling & Packaging: locate coils, package and secure for shipment, stage finished product for dispatch.
• Inventory & Material Flow: pull orders, deliver materials, open and manage in-process inventory, record locations.
