Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a manufacturing worker to operate various tools and assist with the shipping and packing process. You will lift, inspect, and move materials to meet production schedules on the day shift.

The role requires reading a tape measure, using a calculator, and complying with safety standards. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 6 months of manufacturing experience helpful.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift heavy items (minimum of 50 lbs.) is required.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and use a calculator.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools including hammers, mallets, clamps, hand drills, and deburring tools.
• Assist with lifting and stacking products at a fast pace through the schedule.
• Pull identified finished goods from the yard to fulfill packing lists.
• Visually inspect materials for weld misses, incomplete cleaning, and incorrect sizes from the welding team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including finished goods storage.
• Operate punch presses to process parts for the Shipping Department.
• Cut wooden battens or blocks for the Shipping Department as needed.
