Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Material Handler to engage in packaging, loading, unloading, storing, and transporting materials. Responsible for on-time delivery and quality in shipping, and ensuring SAP receipts and goods issues are correctly recorded.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and forklift experience, with valid driver’s license and computer literacy. Key duties include following EH&S policies, handling shipping/receiving, operating forklifts, maintaining logs, and coordinating

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months forklift experience within the last 4 years.
• Qualified Industrial Equipment operator.
• Experienced computer knowledge.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow EH&S policies.
• Perform all shipping/receiving requirements, including packaging and shipping safely.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment; load/unload vehicles and move materials.
• Maintain daily shipping/receiving activity log.
• Transfer finished goods from manufacturing to offsite warehouse with pallet integrity.
• Perform daily/weekly cycle counts and investigate inventory variances.
• Execute SAP transactions for receipts and goods issues.
• Collaborate with other departments on inventory/receipts discrepancies.
