Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Material Handler to join the Shipping Team in Wendell, NC. You will move materials, receive, ship, store, pick, deliver and manage inventory in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, English proficiency, and SAP/RF scanner familiarity. Shift is 7:30am–4:00pm with an hourly rate of $19.00. You will ensure accurate documentation and maintain safe material flow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in material management (warehousing).
• 2+ years driving forklift, order picker, and stand-up.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficient.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down forklifts safely.
• Count and verify incoming materials and record in SAP.
• Pack and ship materials, load outgoing shipments, and document to drivers.
• Use small hand tools including battery, electrical, and air-powered tools.
• Follow safety rules and seek process improvements.
• Work independently with attention to detail.

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our Shipping Team. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials, including receiving, shipping, storage, picking, delivery, and inventory management.

Shift Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

Hourly Rate: $19.00

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years' experience in material management (warehousing)
• 2+ years' experience driving a forklift, order picker and stand up.
• Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

Preferred qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with SAP system
• Experience with RF Scanner devices
• Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

You'll make an impact by:

• Safely operate stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, and sit-down forklifts in high-traffic areas and narrow aisles, while unloading and receiving production materials and recording them in SAP.
• Count and verify incoming materials in the storeroom and pick materials for internal and external customers using RF scanners with accuracy.
• Efficiently pack and ship materials damage-free, load outgoing shipments, and ensure proper documentation is provided to drivers.
• Proficient with small hand tools, including battery, electrical, and air-powered tools.
• Adhere to all safety rules, follow established processes and methods, and actively seek improvement opportunities.
• Work independently with strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
