• Aptitude with SAP/WMS and ISO-9001 requirements.
• Forklift and comparable equipment operating skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Examine contents and compare with records to verify shipment accuracy.
• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.
• Record shipment data for reporting and recordkeeping.
• Determine shipping method using procedures, routes, and rates.
• Deliver or route materials to departments using handtrucks or bins.
• Pack, seal, label, and affix postage for shipping.
• Resolve problems with carriers; rectify damages or shortages.
• Requisition and store shipping materials to maintain inventory.
• Coordinate with carrier representatives for shipping instructions.
• Calculate space, shipping, storage, and demurrage charges.
