Job summary

Foreman Tool and Mold is seeking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift Material Handler/Set up Technicians. No experience required for material handlers; on-the-job training provided. Set up Technicians will mold set up and startup processes, with growth potential into a Process Technician role.

We operate Monday through Friday with three shifts and offer medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401k match. Safety, reliability, and teamwork are emphasized in our clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in material handling and/or setup is desirable.
  • On-the-job training available for entry-level candidates.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and work safely on shift.
  • Must be able to learn quickly, follow directions, and maintain accurate records.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Load and mix materials, clean hoppers, and ensure materials and boxes are ready.
  • Weigh materials, mix colorants, and maintain accurate records.
  • Set up molds, connect water lines, and perform basic start-ups on injection molding machines.
  • Trained Material Handlers can progress to Set up Technician and role expansion.

Job description

Foreman Tool and Mold is a busy injection molder and we are looking for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift Material Handler/Set up Technicians. We need to add to our existing employees. We are a growing company with a clean, safe environment. We produce mainly, automotive and switch components. Material Handlers normally load and mix material, clean hoppers, ensure boxes and material is ready and available. Material Handlers do not need experience. They can get on the job training, they just need to be able to learn quick, follow directions, be thorough and double check their work. Set up Technicians, set the molds, connect water lines, and do basic start ups on injection molding machines. We would like set up technicians with experience. Once a Material Handler is trained well and doing the job fully, they will then go on to training as a Set up Technician. We would like a person capable of doing and/or learning both jobs.

The Right Candidate Will
  • be able to safely, operate sit down forklift
  • be able to lift up to 70 pounds, 50 pounds regularly
  • be safety conscious, careful and follow procedures
  • load materials, be able to weigh and keep track of materials, mix colorants and keep accurate records
  • ideally, have some injection Molding experience: Past material handling and/or set up experience
  • be reliable, have great attendance and be a team player
  • be able to set molds, connect water lines or be capable of learning how
  • be capable to learn and grow with our Company. The right person will continue being trained and grow to a Process Technician and further.
We Operate Monday - Friday And Hours Are
  • 1st shift 6:15 am - 2:45 pm
  • 2nd shift is 2:15 pm - 10:45 pm
  • 3rd shift is 10:15 pm - 6:45 am
