Safety-Kleen in Independence, MO seeks a Warehouse Worker (Material Handler) to perform all warehouse duties safely and efficiently. You’ll unload waste from route trucks, restock materials, prepare loads for shipment, and maintain clean, organized areas in compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential.
• Follow specific instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision at times.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and records.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Complete physical requirements of the role and pass checks.

Responsibilities

• Unload containerized waste from route trucks.
• Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day’s runs.
• Ensure waste and containers are in acceptable shipping condition.
• Stock the warehouse with received materials.
• Prepare waste loads for shipment.
• Assist with inventory counts at warehouse.
• Perform minor repairs on parts washers at the warehouse.
• Observe third party bulk liquid transfers.
• Follow all local, state and federal compliance regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and company guidelines.
• Observe all environmental, health and safety guidelines.
• Housekeeping and general duties as assigned.
