Job summary

Pacific Supply is a building products distributor with over 50 locations across the Western United States and has been serving the construction industry since 1953. We are seeking a Material Handler in the New York area to load roofing materials and drywall, and support yard operations.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, counting materials, and assisting customers as part of a team. Forklift experience and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to load a roof or stock drywall.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Prior experience in the distribution center industry preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload customer and company vehicles.
• Load roofing shingles onto roofs and other material handling in yard/jobsites.
• Counts and reconciles incoming and outgoing materials.
• Assists all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
