American Air Filter is seeking a warehouse forklift operator in North Carolina to unload, inspect, and document incoming freight and raw materials. You will package products for safe shipping and follow Quality Department rules, while enforcing forklift safety regulations.

You will also maintain a daily forklift checklist, keep the warehouse clean, and adapt to last-minute schedule changes as needed. Prior forklift experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must have valid North Carolina driver’s license.
• 1+ year forklift driving experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16.
• Must be able to operate nail guns and banding equipment.
• Must be able to operate stretch wrap machine and pallet jack.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

Ensure all products is packaged for safe shipping per outlined rules from the Quality department and policy and procedure.

Adhere to all safety regulations in forklift operations.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

DECISIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for daily checklist on assigned forklift.

Responsible for keeping warehouse in a clean and organized manner.

Must be able to adapt to last minute changes in daily work schedule

Requirements
