Amsive LLC in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring an entry-level Assistant/Material Handler to support daily print and mail operations. You will stage materials, move items, and keep production stations clean, with two shift options (nights or days) and weekend expectations.

This role offers growth on a dynamic manufacturing floor and requires safety-conscious, punctual teammates with basic computer skills. Physical demands include standing long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; prior experience preferred but not required.

• English fluency required; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Read and interpret production tickets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and stage paper, envelopes, inserts, trays, and finished mail.
• Operate pallet jack and roll cart in a fast-paced production environment.
• Read and interpret work tickets and production schedule.
• Report issues to Supervisor.
• Continuously supply materials to machines and return unused materials to locations.
• Transport mail trays and pallets between production, QA and shipping, and manage recycling/trash removal.

Work Hours Available:

Two shift options Nights: 3pm – 3am or Days: 3am - 3pm, with expected mandatory additional hours including weekends

Pay:

Starting pay is in the $16.00 per hour range as an entry level role

What we are looking for:

The Assistant/Material Handler supports daily print and mail operations by staging jobs, moving materials and cleaning up production stations. It is an entry level role that is very active on our manufacturing floor.

What you will be doing:

• Load, unload, and stage paper, envelopes, inserts, trays, and finished mail
• Pallet jack and roll cart operation in a fast-paced production environment
• Read and interpret work tickets and production schedule
• Report issues to Supervisor
• Continuously supply the correct materials to the appropriate machines
• Return unused production materials to assigned locations
• Transport mail trays and pallets between production, QA, and shipping areasand manage recycling/trash removal

Who you are:

• Experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse setting preferred
• Have employment history of reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting with strong quality standards
• Work experience requiring staging production materials and safely moving large pallets
• Ability to operate equipment safely (pallet jacks, carts, wrapping equipment, etc.)
• English fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) required bilingual Spanish preferred
• Ability to read and follow job tickets, and written or verbal instructions
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Basic computer experience

None

Work Environment:

Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility

Physical Demands:

• Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment

Security Clearance:

Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
