Smithfield Foods is seeking Material Handlers/Powered Equipment Operators to safely move product through our Tar Heel, NC facility. They will operate forklifts and related equipment, support the production line, and meet certification requirements during the qualification period.

The role offers competitive starting pay of $21.10 per hour with a $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift, plus comprehensive health insurance, retirement benefits, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work overtime if required.
• Willingness to operate forklifts and other powered equipment safely.
