Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Moon Township, PA is seeking a physically capable worker to operate equipment for moving packages and heavyweight freight. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, walking/standing for shifts, climbing stairs, and working in a noisy environment with a valid driver’s license.

You will assist in pallet buildup/breakdown, move heavy items using appropriate equipment, and coordinate with ULD repair vendors as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Must be able to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Must communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level and to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Able to walk and stand for designated work hours. Able to bend and squat for designated work hours. Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level. Ability to maneuver packages in enclosed spaces and stack packages above one’s head if required at location. Able to work in all weather conditions if required at work location. Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location. Able to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training. The ability to communicate both timely and effectively, in a noisy operations environment, is required.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety sensitive position, a drug screen is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Since operating motorized conveyances is required in this job, employee must possess a valid driver's license.

Pay Range:

$19.34/hour

Additional Posting Information:

Early Morning - Tuesday to Saturday 03:00AM - 08:00AM; Pay: $19.34/hour. Requirements: Mass have a Drivers Licenses and must pass a drug screen and criminal background check
