• Assist with warehouse operations and cross-train in pre-pack tasks.

Material Handler - Pallet Processing

Location: Byhalia, MS

Pay Rate: $16.25 - $16.75 per hour

Shift Options: 1st Shift, 6 AM‑2 PM, Mon‑Fri | 2nd Shift, 2 PM‑10 PM, Mon‑Fri | 3rd Shift, 10 PM‑6 AM, Mon‑Fri | 4th Shift, 6 AM‑6 PM, Sat‑Mon

Job Duties

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, production, or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Experience using hand tools such as safety cutters or strap cutters is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE, including gloves, safety glasses, and steel‑toe boots
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Requirements

• Remove plastic strapping from pallets of finished goods safely and efficiently
• Prepare packaged materials for shipment and ensure pallets remain stable for transport
• Dispose of or recycle removed strapping materials according to company procedures
• Inspect pallets and materials for proper handling and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free work area
• Assist with warehouse operations, including sorting, staging, pallet breakdown, and material handling
• Support production needs by cross‑training in pre‑pack operations, including packing and sealing boxes
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and proper tool‑handling guidelines
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily workflow and shipping goals
