Job summary

Atkore in Pendleton, Oregon is seeking a Material Handler to assist packaging finished pipe, perform quality checks, and support production on day and night shifts. The role focuses on accurate counting, crate preparation, and proper use of forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities include weighing and moving finished products, cutting crate boards, processing regrind, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment while adhering to PPE guidelines and plant safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good understanding of basic math for counting and calculations.
• High attention to detail, time management, and organization.
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Package finished pipe in crate quantities and perform quality checks.
• Weigh and transport finished product.
• Cut crate boards to proper lengths.
• Process regrind and maintain cleanliness of production and storage areas.
• Follow plant safety rules and wear PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, gloves).
• Proficient with material handling devices including forklifts and pallet jacks.
