Job summary

Cresco Labs is seeking a Material Handler to join our Supply Chain team in a role that supports all departments with the materials needed to complete tasks. You will maintain accurate cannabis and non-cannabis inventory, help ship/receive items, and ensure smooth facility operations.

The position requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures. Forklift experience and power industrial lift truck certification are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred; must obtain lift truck certification.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Deadline-driven and able to work with multiple departments.
  • Able to repeatedly lift, lower, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Must work outdoors in varying temperatures and around equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide materials to other departments based on work orders and bills of materials.
  • Follow FIFO to maintain shelf-life quality of perishable stock.
  • Track and report inventory levels to avoid shortages.
  • Receive goods, stock shelves, and run daily supply errands.
  • Operate lift trucks to move equipment and receive shipments.
  • Hand off shipments to carriers and communicate issues to leadership.
  • Support overall operation and maintain clean, organized work areas.

JOB SUMMARY

Cresco Labs is seeking Material Handlers to join our Supply Chain team. The Material Handler will supply other departments with all the materials required to complete their tasks. We are looking for associates with great attention to detail to maintain an accurate inventory of cannabis and non-cannabis materials. Material handlers will need to work closely with other departments to help ship/receive cannabis material, supplies and equipment related to the facility operation.

CORE JOB DUTIES
  • Providing the facility with all materials needed at the point of use based on work orders/bills of materials provided.
  • Follow a first in first out (FIFO) flow of inventory to ensure the shelf-life quality of all perishable stock items
  • Assist in tracking and reporting inventory levels to avoid shortages
  • Assist in the receiving of goods as well as stocking shelves and completing daily supply run for all departments
  • Operates lift trucks to move equipment/supplies through facility and receive goods from freight carriers
  • Receive and handoff shipments to freight carriers and small package carriers like FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
  • Communicating shipment issues with department leadership including damaged shipments.
  • Other duties to support the overall operation as assigned
  • Maintain general cleanliness and organization of shared work areas
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Must be able to operate and complete power industrial lift truck certification/training requirements.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organizational skill
  • Deadline driven and detail-oriented
  • Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all company departments and employees
  • Able to repeatedly lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to work outside in cold and hot environments.
  • One must be able to work around equipment with moving parts and excessive noise
  • Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.

Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Pay Range

$18.50 - $18.50 USD
