Job summary

TW Metals is seeking a Material Handler to safely retrieve, stage, prepare, and distribute materials in a warehouse setting. Responsibilities include deburring, packing, exporting, receiving, and shipping, plus pulling material to fill orders and documenting the process.

Qualifications include 1–3 months of related experience, ability to learn powered equipment, measurement skills, math proficiency, and ERP familiarity. Physical demands include lifting up to 100 lbs with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to learn and be certified to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
• Proficient in reading tape measures, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
• Ability to perform basic math functions using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Willingness to learn and navigate an ERP system.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and apply logical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Material Preparation & Staging: Deburring, packing, export preparation, receiving, and shipping.
• Order Fulfillment: Pulls material from inventory storage to fill sales orders accurately.
• Verification & Documentation: Verifies materials, quality, quantity, packs for shipment, and records necessary information on sales orders.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operates powered industrial equipment to move and stage materials.
• Housekeeping: Maintains a clean and organized work area to support efficient operations.
