Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Material Handler, Material/Property Control for Kauai, HI to support PMRF operations. Under direct supervision, you will manage property accountability and inventory using MAXIMO and MILSTRIP data.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, receiving, storing, issuing, and requisitions; FED LOG data retrieval; and cross-location travel to Makaha Ridge, Port Allen, and Koke’e as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year logistics supply and customer service experience.
• Experience with inventory management and accountability.

• Storeroom management and receipt of property.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Job description

Amentum is seeking a Material Handler, Material/ Property Control for a position on Kauai, HI. Under direct supervision, the individual will perform a variety of functions and tasks related to the Supply and Logistics Department at Pacific Missile Range Facilities (PMRF) and PMRF off-site locations, which include Makaha Ridge, Port Allen and Koke’e.

Responsibilities

• Utilize MAXIMO database to conduct tasks for all property accountability
• Help maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and correcting basic discrepancies.
• Assist with daily warehouse operations including receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and returning materials to support PMRF missions.
• Process material requests and requisitions under supervisor guidance to ensure requirements are properly supported.
• MILSTRIP data research and One Touch data inputs.
• Ability to navigate and retrieve information using FED LOG to support logistics and supply chain tasks.
• Assist in other areas of supply as required by cross utilization.
• In addition to the above, performs other tasks as directed by the supervisor and manager.

Additional Responsibilities

• Must be able to work in inclement weather, including daily exposure to heat and sun glare.
• General office, outdoor and warehouse environment.
• PMRF Off-site travel to additional warehouse locations.
• Lifting, pushing/pulling 50+ lbs.
• Work positions requirements: walking, standing, crawling, kneeling or cramped, sitting, and work requiring repeated stooping.
• Environment: customer contact, confined work area, office laboratory, field assignment, and inclement weather.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• One year of Logistic Supply and customer service background.
• Inventory management and accountability.
• Warehouse layout and storage planning
• Storeroom management
• Receipt of property
• Material research
• Experience in Microsoft Office.
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
• Must work well with co-workers and customers.

Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a US Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.

Compensation Details

$31.34 /hr
