Job summary

Mayzon in New Castle, Delaware, is seeking a Material Handler to move materials and finished goods across production and storage areas. You will operate forklifts, load/unload materials, and ensure timely delivery to workstations to support production flow.

You will also prepare pallets, handle documentation, and maintain accurate inventory in ERP systems while following safety procedures and working with a supportive team. Training and career growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.

• Document production tickets and related paperwork.
• Collaborate with production, warehouse and logistics teams.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.

• Coordinate and execute the movement of materials, supplies, and finished goods across production and storage areas
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, including specialized or high-capacity equipment as required
• Load and unload materials from trucks, storage locations, and production areas
• Support production flow by ensuring timely delivery of materials to workstations
• Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for storage or shipment
• Generate, process, and verify production tickets, labels, and related documentation
• Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs) and other production documents
• Perform inventory transactions, including issuing, returning, and tracking materials in ERP or inventory systems
• Monitor material usage and support inventory accuracy and control processes

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in training and supporting Material Handlers I and II
• Support process improvements related to material flow and inventory accuracy
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and material reconciliation
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to optimize workflow
