Job summary

PCC Airfoils, LLC in Douglas, Georgia is seeking a Materials Handler to support the Foundry’s materials workflow. Responsibilities include reading shipping instructions, unloading and loading trucks, and ensuring accurate shipment documentation.

You will enter data, generate barcode labels, and use AQCS and basic Microsoft Office tools. A high school diploma is required with 3 months on-the-job training preferred; a valid driver's license is necessary.

Responsibilities

JOB TITLE: Materials Handler

JOB FUNCTION:

The Materials Handler is responsible for assisting in the Materials department of all raw materials and finished product for the plant.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE:

Three months OJT training.

EFFORT:

Normal effort required. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds consistently; higher weights with appropriate lifting devises.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for self. Make sure shipments meet quality standards. Must be willing to work daily overtime and weekend overtime as necessary.

JOB CONDITIONS:

Exposed to elements when transferring parts or product to/from plant.
