Job summary

DSV is seeking an experienced Inventory Team Lead to oversee inventory control processes and ensure accurate counts in our warehouse. The role involves leading a team of inventory associates, developing procedures, and ensuring data integrity in the inventory system.

The ideal candidate will have a associate or bachelor’s degree, at least 3 years in inventory management, and strong leadership and communication skills. Forklift operation and experience with Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in inventory management/warehousing.
• Experience leading a team.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.

Summary

DSV is seeking an experienced and motivated Inventory Team Lead to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the inventory control processes and ensuring accurate inventory counts and tracking of goods in our warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead a team of inventory associates to perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and processes
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods
• Enter data into inventory management system accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain organized and clean inventory storage areas
• Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols
• Prepare regular inventory reports for management
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Educational background / Work experience

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related field
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cycle counting or other inventory control methods

For this position, the expected base pay range is $28.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
