Job summary

DP World is seeking a Material Handler (L1) for our Santa Clara, CA site. The role involves picking parts per orders, moving items from containers, and supporting inventory counting to meet production KPIs.

You will work in a traditional warehouse setting, read and interpret orders and safety docs, and be part of a diverse team. Overtime and varying shifts may be required to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Team player able to work with a diverse group.
• Flexible to overtime or varying shifts.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work is performed in a traditional warehousing environment and picking parts according to customer order and placing parts in work areas.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
• Moves items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assist in the counting and accurate tracking of materials or items received or distributed. May also assist with the physical counting of inventory.
• Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
• Other duties as assigned.
